Adams and Radford 56ft
Preowned 56ft Adams and Radford design motor sailor
Ruby Ruby is a 56ft Adams and Radford designed motor sailor launched in 2000 and is in great condition. She features a fibreglass with solid foam core and has recently been on the hard in Durban where she was professionally painted with awl grip hull and topsides while below the waterline she was stripped back, re faired and anti-fouled.
Predominantly a long distance blue water motor trawler, she features beautiful lines with an aft stepped mast fitted with a long raking furling genoa which is fantastic for motor sailing as it holds the boat very stable underway while also saving fuel. She is also fitted with boom stabilisers and para veins.
The saloon and upstairs galley features wrap around windows with the helm and helm seat on the portside and sliding doors to easily access the winches. There is also a L-shaped dining settee and a three person couch on the starboard side that can be used as a bed while on passage. The u-shaped galley features ample refrigeration and a new electric induction cooktop and LG three-in-one convection, steam and microwave oven. The rear cockpit has a table with dive bottle compressor, a fridge or freezer, second induction cooktop, large sink, and ample storage along with rod holders. There is also great access to the pontoon through the open transom with fold down Marlin board and a huge storage lazarette under the cockpit floor and wide walk around decks.
Climb onto the roof via the forward ladder to find the centre console Brigg tender with 20 horse Suzuki four stroke outboard that is launched via the electric fold up davit. Also there is a beautiful rowing sailing skiff, solar panels and storage boxes.
Down below you will find two queen cabins fitted out with a separate shower and electric head.
