Entering a new phase in the evolution of the Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamaran range, comes a new Aura 51 Smart Electric that pioneers a more environmental approach to cruising, and is full of new innovations.
A new deck layout
The completely newly designed deck provides more space and comfort, with the saloon opening completely onto the cockpit. This facilitates communication between the open-plan galley and the large cockpit table, for an even greater feeling of freedom, a characteristic of the Fountaine Pajot range.
Larger capacity for renewable energy
Designed in collaboration with naval architects, Olivier Racoupeau Design, the Fountaine Pajot 51 accommodates a large surface area on the flybridge for totally flush-decked solar panels, capable of producing 2000 Watts of renewable energy. That’s five times more green energy than most cruising yachts, equipped with solar panels.
The elegant design of the flybridge itself allows for a large lounge and sunbathing area.
A multitude of layouts including a 6-cabin/6-bathroom version
Each cabin in the four optional layouts comes with its own bathroom. This includes the six-cabin version, a first in the market for 51-foot sailing catamarans.
As is the double Maestro version, with its huge owner’s cabin occupying the entire port hull, another exclusive for Fountaine Pajot.
The new Fountaine Pajot 51 is undeniably a cruising multihull that is as pleasing to live aboard as it is respectful of its environment.
