16 May 2013
There’s still time to plan a trip to Queensland, on Australia’s Gold Coast for the second exciting Riviera Festival which is just around the corner! Featuring a spectacular eyeful of the most beautiful craft, the latest in marine technology and loads of opportunities to get up to speed practically – you’ll wish it would never end.
Boating World’s Derrick Levy says you won’t easily find a better opportunity to compare different Riviera models all in one spot - for an informed overview of the options available to match up with personal taste and requirements.
You’ll be blown away by Riviera’s fantastic on-water display worth an impressive AUD$15 million which will feature the brand new 565 SUV model - making her world show debut.
A fantastic programme of 83 educational and social events has been designed to encourage power boat owners to learn more about their boats and onboard systems – to become more confident on the water. Workshops will cover anchoring, line work, rafting and mooring; onboard entertainment; understanding gyro stabilisers, electrical power systems and a special children’s only Riv Kidz Skipper training program to mention a few. Limited places are available at all workshops and registration via the Festival of Boating website is essential.
Back to the boats - designed to shine among her peers on show, the 565 will take pride of place among several other popular new models from the Riviera range including the 5000 Sport Yacht Next Generation, 5800 Sport Yacht, 63 Enclosed Flybridge, 53 Enclosed Flybridge, 43 Open Flybridge and the 445 SUV. Also look out for the full mock up of the new Riviera 50 Enclosed Flybridge which will make her world boat show launch in Sydney in August.
The new 565 SUV combines the high performance cruising of the classic Flybridge with the fish raising abilities of the Offshore Express and the single-level entertaining features of the popular Sport Yacht series.
There’s plenty of overnight room for 6-8 family members and friends in three cabins, two bathrooms. Beautiful design features make her easy on the eye and the retractable sliding glass sunroof hatches open her up al fresco-style. The large cockpit with plenty of storage for fish and other items is a brilliant area for fishing and entertaining.
Inside - the large helm station to port boasts three gleaming display screens, controls and a Volvo joystick for easy manouevering and a top loading refrigerated cool box underneath mezzanine seating keeps the party cool.
Loads of optional extras allow for personal preference when it comes to maximizing the potential of the 565 SUV for luxurious leisure time.
Be the first to see this amazing new SUV at the Riviera Festival of Boating at Riviera’s 14-hectare, state-of-the-art Coomera facility, 50 Waterway Drive, Coomera.
And a quick ferry ride will take you to the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show which runs concurrently – where you can enjoy even more boating pleasure.
