INTRODUCING FABULOUS NEW FAIRLINE SQUADRON 48 MOTOR YACHT TO THE FAIRLINE RANGE

10 Jul 2013

It’s come to be expected that every Fairline Flybridge will hit the market running – bristling with well-proven design features and sophisticated marine engineering - and the Squadron 48 is no exception! She goes way beyond the norm in an explosive marriage of breathtaking luxury and thrilling performance – a pure entertainer.

This beautiful cruiser is filled with social ‘hot spots’ such as the expansive flybridge which boasts large, comfortable seating area around a dining table for hours of relaxing outdoors – even at mealtimes. Naturally refreshments can be replenished from the bar unit with refrigerator which comes complete with sink and waste bin.

The table lowers to convert into a sunbed (with storage underneath) for catching those rays or for that afternoon snooze. Once refreshed and looking for some action guests can head for the forward-facing seating alongside the upper helm - an exhilarating place to be while under way and a great look-out spot. A wind-deflecting screen with grab rail will keep heavy gusts at bay.

Those looking for indoor comfort can move down the teak-laid steps to the lower deck and into the large, beautifully styled saloon - superbly fitted with hand crafted American white oak timber in satin finish.  Every inch invites relaxation and it takes little persuading to flop down in one of the large seating areas port and starboard where the cocktail table converts to a dining table. Again there’s more forward-facing companionway seating alongside the helm for good conversation and admiring the view.

A few steps down and you’ll find yourself in the naturally illuminated galley which is carefully
considered and perfectly specified. There you’ll find a two-burner gas hob, oven and grill, tall fridge/freezer and a large pantry cupboard.

Moving back outside into the gorgeous teak-laid cockpit area and there’s even more seating for entertaining and twin transom gates offer easy access to and from the water for cooling off or enjoying water sport. The submersible bathing platform can accommodate a jet tender.

Below, 4-7 people can overnight in the three cabins with a large mid-master cabin with en-suite toilet and shower compartment. All three reflect the Squadron’s unmistakably high standards with all the creature comforts one would expect and the flexibility of a dinette option in place of the third cabin.

Matching the new dynamic hull design - the 48 is powered by twin 2x Volvo Penta IPS600 D6-435 Diesels reaching 435mhp each.  Long distance travel is no obstacle with the 1350-litre fuel capacity.
