JOIN IN ON THE FUN FILLED LIGHTED BOAT PARADE IN CAPE TOWN

Looking for fun family and friends boating activity to kick off the summer season? Come and join Boating World for an “illuminating” music-filled evening on the water!
Bring your boat and be part of the magical Lighted Boat Parade which takes place at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on Friday, 30 October 2015! This exciting event marks the start of the first South African Ocean Festival where a flotilla of beautifully lit boats will parade the harbour. Yours could be one of them!
This dramatic display will show how “light carriers” bring light into the harbour - just as the early shipman and their vessels did. Once the craft reach their destination, all the lights will go on in the village.
Join the parade and celebrate the ocean and all that it offers our country. Families and friends can gather at different viewing spots along the Waterfront to watch this annual spectacle, and can expect the Sea Princess and boat parade at Jetty 2/Quay 6 to illuminate the harbour.
The award winning Beatenberg group will kick off festivities with an exciting, live performance.
