Now for something completely different! Over the last 18 months, around 2700 people have enjoyed a whole new boating experience - while venturing right into the heart of raw African wilderness.

Giving new meaning to the term adventure - a trip aboard the stunning Zambezi Queen a 42m luxurious house boat offers the best of both worlds – no wonder guests are hooked!

When visionary entrepreneur Tony Stern designed this amazing craft on the banks of the great Chobe River he turned a dream into reality – to explore untamed African waters and the mysteries of the bush in absolute style - without tampering with nature or compromising the comfort of those on board.

The Chobe River divides Namibia’s Caprivi Strip from Botswana’s Chobe National Park, and its exotic banks boast one of the densest populations of wildlife on the African continent. Teeming with life, this National Park sprawls across some 11 000 m of lush African bush, and is home to the largest populace of elephants in the world – currently estimated at roughly 120 000. Prides of leopard and lion, huge groups of buffalo, waterbuck, roan, eland, sable, giraffe, (and even the rare puku) can also be seen.

The river itself is home to hippo and crocodile and also boasts a rich selection of bird life. Zambezi queen guests enjoy water-based game viewing and bird watching from tender boats enabling close-up viewing in an environment where the animals do not feel threatened. Professionally trained guides help them to spot those elusive creatures and in season angling enthusiasts can try their hand at Tiger and Bream fishing.

Family and friends can enjoy this awesome two or three day cruise experience together as the three-deck Zambezi Queen has plenty of space for all with 10 Suites and four Master Suites with a maximum of two people per Suite - except for two Suites which incorporate sofa couches suitable for a child under the age of sixteen. All accommodation is en-suite with king size beds which can be converted to two single beds on request. (Children under 7 are not permitted and children 16 years and older are considered adults).

All suites have private balconies and fans, full length sliding shutter doors for both privacy and protection from the sun, mosquito screens and the finest finishes. The four Master Suites have their own private deck with outdoor furniture and panoramic views.

For complete relaxation - a comfortable air-conditioned reading room includes a library of books on the fauna, flora and history of the area, numerous games, and a computer facility with internet access and a curio shop.

The third level/entertainment deck offers dining facilities, an open plan lounge area with unobstructed views, a computerised telescope for exploring the African night sky and a well appointed bar with the finest wines and spirits. There are two outside areas on the top deck, one aft which provides a shaded area with comfortable seating and the other on the foredeck which includes a plunge pool and sun bathing area.

A light aircraft or helicopter is available for transfers to/ from Victoria Falls, including a sightseeing tour over the Falls and there’s a nine-hole golf course and Spa facility (subject to availability) at Kasane. There are also full day return trips to Victoria Falls by land transfer.

Don’t miss the opportunity for a real African Safari adventure!
