Save the date for the 2017 Cape Town International Boat Show

Save the date for the annual Cape Town International Boat Show, from 20-22 October 2017.

Referred to as ‘the grand-daddy of boat shows on the African continent’ the event has been attracting thousands of boat-mad visitors since it was first established 16 years ago.

Showing our commitment to the industry, Boating World will again be a main exhibitor at the event, with our biggest display to date.

Visitors to the show can expect to see yachts on display from our stable of prestigious international brands Fairline, Jeanneau, Riviera and Sea Ray. Just in time for summer, we will also have some incredible boat show specials on pre-owned boats as well as exciting co-ownership offers for new and preowned boats.

Our international colleague Karl Gilding from Fairline Yachts will be joining us at this year’s event. Karl will be on hand to discuss the exciting developments Fairline has in store, like the re-launch of the Targa 43 Open in 2018 and Fairline’s latest project – the ‘F-Line’ series, a brand new 33ft express cruiser, which will be ready for delivery in 2019.

A new innovation for 2017 will be our first ever Virtual Reality (VR) display, where perspective buyers will have the opportunity to step aboard new yacht models that are not yet available in South Africa.

Our sales team have just returned from a successful Cannes Yacht Festival trip. We are all enthusiastic to share our insights on the new yachts being released from our international partners as well as the leading trends from the European yacht market.

This year we have partnered with the glamorous new Vista Marina  restaurant for our VIP guest tent. Cape Town Boat Show visitors can also book for brunch or lunch at Vista Marina and enjoy the atmosphere of the boat show whilst listening to great music and sipping cocktails.
