2018 European Power Boat of the Year and Yacht of the Year nominees

The European Power Boat of the Year jury gathered in France, during the Cannes Yachting Festival, to agree on the final 2018 nominations for the prestigous honour of  2018’s Best Power Poat.  The final nominations for the 2018 European Yacht of the Year had been announced earlier in September, prior to the festival. The criteria which the jury base their evaluation is based on space, value for money, performance and innovation.

The aspirant nominees are categorised by model length and type, and we are proud to share that the new models for the brands that Boating World represents have all been nominated in their categories.

Our 2018  European Power Boat of Year nominees include;

Length up to 25 feet

Lengths up to 35 feet

Jeanneau NC33
Sea Ray Sundancer 320 

Length up to 45 feet

Fountaine Pajot MY44 

Length greater than 45 feet

Fairline Targa 63 GTO

The jury for the awards are composed of directors from European media organisations, each from one country, so no nationality or favouritism can prevail.

The boats are tested between September and October and the final winners will be  announced at the world’s largest boating marketplace, Düsseldorf Boot, on January 20, 2018.
