21 Jun 2024

The Azimut Verve 48 has been recognized by the jury of Robb Report Best of the Best 2024 as the winner in the "Dayboat" category. This prestigious accolade, bestowed annually by the American magazine Robb Report, underscores the remarkable success of the Azmut Verve Series. According to journalists from Robb Report US, the Verve 48 clinched the award for its "triple 600hp Mercury outboards, open exterior, and foldout rear deck," distinguishing it as the top choice for dayboats.

Designed by Francesco Struglia, who crafted both the interiors and exteriors, the Verve 48 introduces an innovative concept in sport-weekenders. It seamlessly combines the thrill of gliding over water with the ability to enjoy tranquil moments at anchor, ensuring a harmonious connection with the sea.

AZIMUT VERVE 48

The Verve 48 from the sport-weekender Series by Azimut is designed in collaboration with Francesco Struglia, who designed the interiors and exteriors. The redesigned stern features an expanded layout that seamlessly integrates two ladders for easy water access. On the left side, is a spacious swim platform of unprecedented width that extends to create a unified and expansive surface on the water. Together, these elements provide ample space for unrestricted enjoyment of the sea.

The powerful and agile nature of the Azimut Verve 48 is unleashed by the three 600hp Mercury V12s, which allow you to reach up to 50 knots and cruise efficiently with fuel consumption reduced by 15%. Noise is also reduced by up to 10 decibels compared to the previous Verve 47 and is appreciated from the first moment you get on board, barely being able to hear the engines starting. On the one hand a sporty and gritty soul, on the other welcoming and convivial: the layout of the cockpit allows, thanks to the geometry and optimization of spaces, a fun or more relaxed experience depending on the moment. Another distinctive feature of Verve 48 is the new hardtop, slender and enveloping in shape, also available with a tempered glass insert which, in addition to lightening the structure of the hardtop, lets in light and air even at anchor.

Completing this Series of sport-weekenders with outboard engines is the Verve 42, a 13-meter yacht that incorporates the qualities of the Verve 48 into a more compact model. This boat, suitable for a younger, sophisticated owner, features the Stepped 'V' Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) hull to reduce water resistance and improve performance. The design of interiors and exteriors, conceived by Francesco Struglia, enhances function through emotion, using transparent surfaces inspired by Italian sports cars of the 1970s. This sporty and glamorous yacht can accommodate up to 12 people during the day, with well-organized and comfortable spaces. Equipped with three Mercury outboard engines, Verve 42 can reach a maximum speed of 45 knots and has a range of 200 nautical miles.
