Azimut Fly 82 Wins Prestigious Motor Boat Award at boot Düsseldorf 2026

The Azimut Fly 82 has added another major accolade to its growing list of achievements, securing top honours at the Motor Boat Awards during boot Düsseldorf 2026 — one of the world’s most influential yachting showcases.

Presented annually by Motor Boat & Yachting, the awards ceremony took place in Düsseldorf on 20 January, where the Fly 82 was named winner in the Motor Yachts Over 80ft category. The jury praised the yacht for “its elegant styling, both inside and out, its outstanding spaces, and its impressive combination of speed and efficiency,” confirming the Fly 82 as a benchmark in the luxury flybridge segment.

The award recognises the strength of Azimut’s design collaboration with Alberto Mancini, whose exterior styling delivers a powerful sense of motion even at anchor, while introducing innovative solutions to enhance onboard liveability. Among these is the signature Deck2Deck Terrace™, which seamlessly extends the cockpit area via a teak-clad garage door that lifts flush with the main deck, creating a generous open-air entertaining space.

Interiors by Fabio Fantolino further elevate the experience, with a refined composition of materials, textures and finishes that bring balance, light and contemporary elegance to every living area. 

Beyond design, the Fly 82 also leads in technological innovation. It is the first model to feature WATCHIT Eye, Azimut’s new AI-based collision-prevention system developed in collaboration with marine-tech company WATCHIT and the Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D division, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to safety and intelligent navigation.
