The Seadeck 6 is the first sustainable hybrid motor yacht in a new Azimut Yachts series for families, and the luxury yachting brand's most energy-efficient yacht yet.

Developed in collaboration with Alberto Mancini, Matteo Thun, and Antonio Rodriguez, the Azimut Seadeck 6 features a lightweight carbon exterior and a sleek planing hull that together increase efficiency to create a barrierless, authentic contact with the sea.

Measuring 17.2 metres in length and designed with the latest in environmental technologies, the driving force behind the Seadeck’s design has been to reduce the yacht’s fuel consumption and incorporate sustainable materials on board. As a result, the Seadeck 6 aims to deliver a 40% reduction in emissions compared to traditional yachts of the same size.

The Seadeck 6 features a reimagined ‘Fun Island’, a reinvented cockpit, and an unprecedented sea-level outdoor lounge for limitless contact with the water. By maximising the relationship with the sea, the Seadeck 6 embraces ocean life to establish a lifestyle paradigm centred on wellbeing. 

In keeping with the green ethos, the Seadeck 6’s sustainable onboard materials include the use of cork instead of teak, an eco-gel coat for bulkheads and decks, recycled fabrics, and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood.

"We prefer to talk about consciousness rather than sustainability, a philosophy that determines our way of practising architecture," explains Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. "We try to work by subtraction because reduction means durability, both technical and aesthetic. "And a boat must stand the test of time and be beautiful forever".

Seadeck 6 is the first of three models in the Azimut Seadeck series, which will be presented at the Boot Düsseldorf 2024; Seadeck 7 and Seadeck 8 will follow between 2024 and 2025.
