DURBAN INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW (Friday 28th - Sunday 30th June)

08 May 2013

Come and visit Boating World’s stunning stand at this year’s Durban International Boat Show taking place at the end of June! Celebrating 10 years of fun-filled showtime – this is the first of the year’s national boat shows which promises to be a most exciting option for winter school holidaymakers.

Derrick, Suzanne and their trusted team from Cape Town and Durban will again be stationed on board the luxurious Riviera craft with which they are synonymous– ready to welcome old friends and potential clients on board. You’ll find them at their familiar corner moorings at Durban Marina where the usually peaceful waterfront will be buzzing with activity.

New skiboats, sailing yachts, luxurious motor yachts and other craft will be beautifully displayed, nestling side by side on the water. Upcountry visitors can shake off their frosty cobwebs and enjoy Durban’s idyllic balmy weather with clear days, bright sunshine and gentle breezes - wandering along jetties with an eyeful of beautiful boats floating alongside. This will be the perfect setting for a sneak preview of everything available ahead of the coming season.

Apart from the many boats on moorings, two marquees will be filled with the most up-to-date boating equipment including accessories, spares, safety gear, electronics and watertoys! There’ll be loads of outdoor products as well and all this just a gentle stroll away - on the new grassed area across from Cafe Fish.

Festive music, on-site catering along the boardwalk and a wide range of attractions for the whole family will be the order of the weekend. So come along and join in the fun.

The show opens at 9.30am – 5pm each day.

Parking will be available on the Esplanade (Margaret Mncadi Avenue) or at the Esplanade Parking Garage (across the road from the show) – and at Wilson's Wharf (on the Island - R5 donation to NSRI funds). Free shuttle buses run between Wilson's and the Show all day long.

See you there!
