CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW (October 4th – 6th 2013)
12 Sep 2013
The fabulous luxury Fairline Squadron 42 and Riviera 43OE with IPS drives will take pride of place on Boating World’s on-water stand at the Cape Town International Boat Show this year – along with several other stunning craft . And serious buyers will have a birds-eye view of these boats from the company’s VIP marquee on the adjoining quay-side, where they will enjoy snacks and refreshments!
In direct sight will be the magnificent Fairline British import - captivating big boat lovers with her striking looks and advanced design. This Squadron 42 will stand out among the gorgeously exotic cruisers, elegant sailing yachts, game fishers and others on display at the V&A Waterfront section of the show.
Fairline Boats have created a real action boat with this flybridge motor yacht - something like a sports car – packing explosive power from 2 x 435HP Volvo Penta inboards. She effortlessly reaches 20 – 22knots cruising all the way – even in rough conditions. Sporty she may be, but she still has that “big boat” appeal – with sensational sweeping lines and those huge, panoramic windows which create a light spacious feeling inside. You’ll appreciate her spacious interior which sleeps 4 – 6 people and the huge cockpit sporting a unique lounger with an innovative reversing backrest.
Anglers’ queueing for a chance to board the stunning Riviera Offshore Express will be delighted to find every essential from the fighting chair, outriggers, rocket launches and rod holders to the magnificent viewing spot from the towering flybridge helm and much more.
Throughout the weekend, Boating World’s staff will demonstrate the dexterity of the unique Airberth boat lift system (sporting a top-class locally-manufactured skiboat) which lifts the boat clear out of the water – eliminating the need for anti-fouling and providing a unique mooring option.
Come along and meet Derrick, Suzanne and their knowledgeable team who will be delighted to welcome you aboard and show you around.
There’ll be loads to see at this show which will be bigger and better than ever and the CTICC exhibition centre will boast Boating International’s stand with world-class waterski and wakeboard towboats and many other spectacular craft. Of course these will be accompanied by a whole array of complementary boating accessories and watertoys.
In the Hall will also be the latest in Marine electronics on the Lowrance stand and the Club Marine Insurance team will be on hand to answer all your Insurance queries.
You can enjoy SAMSA’s popular talks on many topics and at the ’Fishing Village’ experts will cover everything there is to know about deep sea fishing, bass angling, fly fishing and shore angling .
The whole family can enjoy the outing - strolling the jetties while inspecting the beautiful craft on show and watching action-packed on-water events. Plenty of food and refreshments will satisfy the hunger pangs at the North Wharf hospitality refreshment centre. Water-taxi’s and bus shuttles will transport visitors free of charge between the exhibition hall and the V&A Waterfront
