Running in conjunction with the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show and just a ferry-ride away is the exciting Riviera Festival – an action packed affair packed with 76 educational and sparkling social events both day and night. South African Riviera 37 owner Kim Labuschagne won the Master Chef competition held 2 years ago and his partner won the Ladies Master Chef competition with great prizes.
Boating World’s Derrick Levy says Riviera has gone all out to provide the best possible program to help owners fully understand all aspects of power boat ownership, operation and maintenance.
Topics include electrical power systems to onboard entertainment, communications to electronic navigation schools, trouble shooting workshops and more. Practical courses cover offshore seamanship, exterior maintenance ‘tricks of the trade’, fishing clinics and a full sea trial program. Or you can enjoy the step-by-step operation of onboard cameras, underwater lights, remote alarm systems and much more.
There’ll be skipper training programs, special ‘ladies only’ events and of course the popular Riviera factory tours.
Visitors will have their eyes opened to see first-hand how these beautiful boats evolve as they go through the boat building process from start to finish. The red carpet, under cover on water display will feature an impressive $22 million showcase of Riviera and Belize Motor yachts, including the 3600, 5000 and 5800 Sport Yachts, the 445, new 515 and 565 SUVs, the 43 Open, new 50, 53, 63 and 75 Enclosed Flybridge range, and the Belize 54 Day bridge. The new 515 SUV will make her world boat show premiere at the Riviera Festival.
The social events include a special Champagne Master Class luncheon for the ladies and you’ll love the ‘Riviera and all that Jazz’ nightclub with its feast of colour, music, dancing, food and fine wine.”
