Put away those winter woollies – summer’s around the corner and it’s time to invest in your new boat! What to buy? There’s a whole selection of gorgeous options available and they’re all in one place!

It’s all happening at the Cape Boat Show in the Mother City next month! An amazing array of exotic cruisers, elegant sailing yachts and sport fishers, world-class waterski and wakeboard towboats will be beautifully displayed at the V&A Waterfront and the CTICC exhibition centre.

Join the curious and many serious boaters as they inspect the different boats, watertoys, accessories and safety gear on show.  They’ll be looking for the latest in design innovation, quality and new models from both local and international boat builders. And where better than at the show to get a full picture of what’s out there?

Boating World’s on-water stand will boast luxurious models from their imported Riviera Sport Fisher and Fairline cruiser ranges as well as a Genoa 39i Sailing Yacht. The unique Airberth boat lift system will hold a top-class locally-manufactured skiboat.

Come and meet Derrick, Suzanne and the team who will be delighted to welcome you at their stunning open-air office - perfectly positioned at the top of the walkway leading onto the moorings.  You’ll have a birds-eye view of all the water displays from this high vantage point.

The head-turning Fairline Squadron 42 will have pride of place among Boating World’s other boats and show-goers won’t be able to resist a closer look. Stylishly streamlined yet spacious, she’s packed for action with explosive power from two Volvo Penta D6 435hp motors.  The sumptuous interior with two fabulous en-suite cabins comfortably sleeps 4 - 6.

The huge flybridge is the perfect place for entertaining a crowd and dual controls mean the pilot can also join in the fun. Twin transom gates on either side of the cockpit allow easy access to a concealed tender launching system for a Williams 285 Jet RIB.

Look out for the Riviera 43 Offshore Express which easily accommodates five people overnight and is a fisherman’s dream boat. Her large cockpit is specifically designed to drain water quickly can fit a full game chair (or entertainment table) with space for fish bins on either side.

Five rod holders are bolted into the coaming and moulded toe kicks are found around the cockpit. The entire teak floor hinges forward to give easy access to the engine room where you’ll find twin Volvo IPs 600 Diesels with IPS. She’s perfectly suited for long-distance travel along our harsh coastline – and she has joystick control.

The full sail Jeaneau 39i will appeal to those who prefer a quieter means of travel. This 11.86m Yacht is ideal for weekend’s away, club racing or family cruising. She easily accommodates four people in two cabins – one featuring a double V berth forward and the other boasting a queen size bed. The compact galley takes care of meals and she has a small tender for getting back to shore.

You’ll also hear about the New 2015 Fairline Targa 48 Open due to arrive this month.  The gorgeously sporty cruiser is not just good to look at but offers exhilarating performance - from powerful Volvo Penta diesels with IPS.

Two en-suite staterooms are ideal for overnight sleepovers and the wide-open saloon is perfect for socializing. A standard, electrically powered canvas roof overhead keeps the area shaded and airy. The swim platform offers easy access in and out of the boat and is able to accommodate a Williams Jet tender.

Boating World’s team will also tell you more about their revolutionary Airberth Lift System which can elevate boats of up to 16.5 tons (15000kg) right above the water. The perfect way to store your boat when not in use, eliminating endless repairs, maintenance and the costs involved.

You also see their Pierplas floating boat docking system. Easy to assemble and low maintenance, this exciting anti-corrosive product is great for mooring jetskis, kayaks, small boats and more.
