Making a debut at the London Boat Show earlier this year, this new 38-footer is the first of eight new Fairline models to be released over the next three years. The brand new Targa 38 Shadow S has been described as the fastest Fairline of all time and it’s not surprising considering she can accelerate to 44 knots. Two powerful Volvo Penta D6-400 engines take her away in an absolute blur!

Recognizing a winner when he sees one, Boating World’s Derrick Levy has already sold his first of this kind.

But back to the exotic beauty under scrutiny. At 12.4 m long and 3.6 m wide this special edition model has the unmistakable sporty stamp of her predecessor (the popular Targa 38) and is packed with new features – including the option of a graphite Sea-Doo SPARK watercraft on a submerged platform!

With this explosive cruiser you certainly won’t need to make any effort to impress – the new Targa 38 Shadow S is impressive in every way!

In her OPEN form, she provides pure convertible fun with the largest roof-opening area for a boat of this size. Passengers will thoroughly enjoy the open-air feel with the wind blowing the hair back and sunshine on their faces. (If it gets too much there is the option of a manual canopy or electric canvas roof).

She’s ultra-mod in looks with eye-catching colours to add a unique and rich flavour. Burnt orange leather upholstery framed with woven carbon piping and orange lighting, stand out in perfect contrast to the graphite hardtop and navigation equipment and titanium coloured deck. Exciting updates to her specs, layout and styling speak for themselves. The interior has stepped up in luxury with an elevated level of quality.  Overall she clearly has loads more space for all your guests including the pilot who will enjoy the wider helm. This area sports a new leather steering wheel and stunning carbon-fibre inserts for a very upmarket appearance.

The traditional single seat has been replaced with ultra-comfortable twin helm seats with plenty of space behind the wheel. Friends and family can relax on the L-shaped seat alongside keeping company with the pilot. The spacious cockpit is ideal for entertaining especially with the new bar unit (griddle, sink and fridge) and an optional fold-out table. Below decks, even the galley has been extended to make preparation easier and more comfortable.

Come time to bunk down – 5 – 7 people can be accommodated in style in the double master forward cabin with en-suite and separate shower compartment, guest cabin and convertible sofa.
