BOATING WORLD’S DELIGHTED RIVIERA 3600 SPORT YACHT CO-OWNER

16 Mar 2011

If Steve Slaney could spend every minute on his newly-acquired Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht he would, but work, distance from Cape Town and other factors leave him looking forward to his next weekend break with much anticipation.

Since becoming a co-owner (one of three boat owners in partnership) of this magnificent luxury Sport Yacht last month, Steve, his family and friends have already experienced the thrill of escaping the bustle of everyday life – cruising out at sea to restore the soul.

Boating World’s Greg Alice joined them for the first trip on-the-water to ensure that everything went smoothly and to provide the training needed to maximize enjoyment on this craft.

“We knew that our adventure had begun right from our first enquiry. Not only are we overjoyed by the purchasing of the Riviera 3600SY, they have made us feel part of their Boating World family too.” Steve said.

The excited group of 11 people met at the V&A mooring next to the One and Only Hotel on Saturday, February 20th – and in no time they were all aboard and rearing to go. The weather was beautiful and sunny with no wind and cruising to Clifton was a breeze. There they parked offshore to take in the view, swim and enjoy lunch and drinks to gentle, soothing rocking as the water lapped the hull of the Riviera 3600SY.

What a perfect way to enjoy a day of relaxation – especially as the Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht offers the very best in spacious al fresco living with her single-level design accommodating all the guests comfortably.

After an enjoyable lunch it was anchors up and away to Sandy Bay where the turquoise waters never fail to impress and refresh. Seals and birds accompanied them adding to the relaxing mood of the day and keeping the party entertained.

All too soon it was late afternoon and time to head back home though in future Steve and his family may consider spending the night on board – the 3600 Sport Yacht offers comfortable accommodation for four with a double forward stateroom and a twin berth cabin.

Co-ownership is growing in appeal among discerning boaters looking for stress-free leisure time.

For only 10% of the total cost boaters become part owners of a luxury imported boat with four weeks in the year to enjoy top-class boating with family and friends.

Simply walk on… enjoy…lock-up and leave! No work involved - just sheer pleasure as Boating World takes care of the rest… from cleaning, repairs to maintenance.

Steve has only positive things to say about the Boating World team and the way in which they were attended to.

“We really put Boating World through their paces with our numerous questions, visits to the yacht and test sails, but they rose to the occasion answering all our questions with total transparency.

Greg Alice has been amazing! His willingness to make himself available to help us to get to know the vessel and familiarize us with the harbour entry and exit procedures is admirable. Watching him wave, greet and chat to other sailors on the water is testimony to the fact that he loves his job and for Boating World, service is offered with a smile.”

Thank you Derrick and all at Boating World

Kind Regards,

Steve and Melanie Slaney
