BOATING WORLD'S AIRBERTHS MAKES THEIR WAY INTO ZULULAND

15 Sep 2011

Air Berth Boat Lifts are making their mark in Richards Bay and the fifth unit has just taken residence in the waters near the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront Marina.

During a recent visit Boating World’s Zane Dresner confirmed that the revolutionary boat lift system is growing in popularity particularly among anglers in the area - who are looking to maximize their fishing time and eliminate hours of inspecting, cleaning, repairs and other maintenance. (And of course there’s the added bonus of money saved).

It only takes about three minutes to raise a boat out of the water, instantly eliminating the need for a crane or trailering and the hull is easily accessible for damage control.

Importer Derrick Levy says these units minimize electrolysis and osmosis on your boat, are easily transportable and made of high density polyethylene plastic (designed to last 50-plus years) with no submerged metal parts. Air Berth Boat Lifts can accommodate boats of up to 10 tons and they are a popular choice particularly among holiday home owners who keep their boats on the water.

More news from Richards Bay is that there is a Riviera 3350 which has just come onto the market. This 35-footer includes some exciting new features enhancing the appeal of this luxury Sport Fisher. These include a TV/DVD player, an extra powerful 24 000 BTU Air Conditioning unit, Schaeffer Outriggers, Lowrance GPS and Radar and Nano Glazing polish for UV-protection and shine. She has just been serviced and is in excellent condition!

Boating World’s Derrick and Suzanne Levy and the team also extend sincere condolences to the Motzouris family and staff at Z-Craft in Empangeni on the tragic loss of Peter Motzouris.  Well-known CEO of Z-Craft boat builders - Peter was renowned for his innovative designs, manufacturing prowess and exceptional finish of top-quality ski boats.
