If you’re planning a trip to the UK soon, why not schedule it for September when you can take a first-hand peak at the very best in British boating (and more) at the 2012 Southampton Boat Show.

This is Britain’s best loved boat show on the water in the maritime city and every year visitor’s flock to see the new boats, equipment and technology. This year’s line-up includes new exhibitors, new products, attractions  and show bargains from around 300 equipment and chandlery companies, over 100  sailing boats, umpteen RIB and inflatables and dinghies and of course more than 200 powerboats.

Breath-taking luxurious motor cruisers will draw the crowd like magnets and UK-based, renowned boat manufacturer Fairline - will again weave its magic to produce the “wow” factor. Their large on-water display will feature key design trends in the latest generation Fairline Squadron and Targa ranges from 38ft up to 78ft.

Look out for the stunning Fairline Squadron 58 which resembles a small ship with her 3 all en suite luxury cabins and optional aft cabin,  all the latest creature comforts. Superb quality finishes and the latest mod cons simply put her in another league. This 58’9” sociable entertainer is amazingly spacious, accommodating up to 14 family members and friends on a day trip and 6 – 8 people can stay for the night. And talk about retiring in style - she even has large windows in the hull adding a whole new dimension to looking out to sea - from your bed!

You won’t need much time on board any of the Fairline models to understand why Fairline is the choice of discerning luxury boat buyers. Other models to be seen include the Squadron 42, 50, 65 and 78 and the Targa 38 GT through to 58 models.

By the way, in between enjoying the boats and products on display, make your way to the Boat Project and see The Collective Spirit - an amazing, custom built 30ft racing boat craft created entirely out of donated wood.
