AirBerth Boat Lifts wins Commercial Marine Manufacturer Award

30 May 2018

This May, our partners AirBerth boatlifts were recognised with the 2018 Commercial Marine Manufacturer Award (Highly Commended) at the 2018 Australian Marine Industry Awards.

AirBerth is the proven choice for commercial marine applications around the world as it:

  • Maximises the days available for deployment;
  • Its ability to launch and retrieve in minutes optimises a vessels mission time; and,
  • The high reserve buoyancy, provides stability even in high wind conditions.
  • The robust HDPE construction means that the AirBerth’s primary material has a design life of almost 50 years.

On receiving the award, Managing Director Alex Chan said:

“It is an honour to receive this award in such esteemed company, the variety of the type companies applying for the awards shows the growing strength of the Australian Commercial Marine Sector.

We thank the panel for recognising the great work the team has done in the commercial sector this last year, with this award.  Our work in the commercial sectors continues to grow with new work with Australian Border Force, SEMAR (Mexican Navy), US Navy, Royal New Zealand Coastguard and the continued support from our existing customers, like Sarawak River Board and the fine volunteers at Marine Rescue NSW.”

Besides commercial marine usage, AirBerth boatlifts are also suitable for the storage of mono-hulls, ski-boats, fishing boats, motor cruisers and catamarans.

By avoiding long-term immersion, the AirBerth boatlift greatly increases the life of props and drives, prevent the forming of gelcoat blisters on a boats hull, and eliminates possible issues caused by osmosis.

Congratulations to our partners, Alex Chan and the team at AirBerth on this achievement.
