Boating World signs new commercial partnership with Azimut Yachts

Boating World is proud to announce the addition of the Azimut Yacht brand to its range of top selling luxury boats. The strategic new partnership was signed at the Cannes International Yachting Festival earlier this month.

The brand forms part of the Azimut Benetti group, the world's leading privately-owned luxury boating company and the largest producing network of mega yachts.

“We’ve always admired Azimut and appreciated the brand loyalty owners have to the company,” says Boating World co-owner Derrick Levy. “Azimut boast the widest product range in the world, with models measuring from 34 to 115 foot. This was important to Boating World because we like to anticipate what clients will look for in the future and have a way forward, so they can achieve their boating goals,” reveals Levy.

Both companies share the same common values, being family run businesses with a strong boating history. One of the first reasons a buyer chooses an Azimut yacht is nearly always beauty. Then, the intrinsic values of the product come into play: its comfort, safety features, level of technology and elegant living solutions. Each range optimises space and volume beautifully.

“Boating World has always focused on the lifestyle that yacht ownership provides, and we strongly identify with what Azimut has to offer,” adds Levy. Upon request, we can also market Benetti, the mega yacht range from the group.

The cutting-edge Azimut Benetti research and development centre is where the group's investments in product development culminates. It’s three Italian shipyards yield a strong production line and the aftermarket sales and support offered to dealers and owners is stupendous.

“We have already sold our first Azimut 80ft Flybridge,” confirms Boating World co-owner Suzanne Levy. We are looking forward to the Cape Town International Boat Show which will mark our official launch of Azimut Yachts in Southern Africa.”

The Cape Town International Boat Show takes place between the 19th - 21st October.
